스크립트 전문

Jake: Emma, you've been staring at your phone all morning. What's going on?

Emma: I'm trying to get train tickets. I keep refreshing to see if any seats open up.

Jake: Train tickets? Where are you going?

Emma: My hometown. Next week is the Lunar New Year holiday.

Jake: Oh, right. Are you going to see your parents?

Emma: Yeah. But everything's sold out.

Jake: Already? When did tickets go on sale?

Emma: A month ago. But I had a meeting that day, so I couldn't buy them.

Jake: Ugh, bad timing.

Emma: Yeah. By the time it ended, the trains were already gone.

Jake: What about the bus?

Emma: Sold out too. That's why I'm trying to get a standing-room ticket.

Jake: How long is the trip?

Emma: About three hours by train.

Jake: You're going to stand for three hours?

Emma: I don't really have a choice. My parents are waiting for me.

Jake: What about renting a car?

Emma: Normally it takes about five hours, but during the holiday rush, traffic can be so bad it could take eight.

Jake: Eight hours would be brutal.

Emma: Yeah. I don't think I can drive that long.

Emma: I even looked into flights, but there's no airport near my hometown, so it doesn't help.

Jake: So you're basically out of options. Did your sister Mia get tickets?

Emma: No. Mia couldn't get them either. We've both been checking like crazy.

Emma: Oh, wait. I just got a text from my mom.

Jake: What did she say?

Emma: She said my parents are coming here this year!

Jake: Really? Why all of a sudden?

Emma: They heard we both couldn't get tickets, so they decided to just come.

Emma: She said if they leave before the holiday, there won't be any traffic.

Jake: That's awesome. Problem solved.

Emma: My parents always come up with smart solutions like this.

Jake: Your parents are amazing. Now you can stop checking.

Emma: Yeah… problem solved… one problem.

Jake: Wait, why are you looking at your phone again?

Emma: Now I have to book a restaurant to take my parents to.

Jake: The grind never stops. Ha ha.
