2 I wonder how the plans you made at the start of the year are going. 👆
I wonder how ~ ~가 어떤지 궁금하다at the start of the year 연초에how ~ is going ~가 어떻게 되어 가는지
💡 간접의문문 어순 wonder 뒤의 how절은 의문문이 아니라 명사절이므로 how + 주어 + 동사 어순을 씁니다. the plans (that) you made가 주어, are going이 동사예요.
3 Eight months of this year have already gone by.
go by (시간이) 지나가다gone by 지나가 버린
💡 현재완료 have p.p.
4 Some of them have surely worked out just as you planned. 👆
surely 분명히work out 잘 풀리다, 뜻대로 되다just as you planned 계획한 그대로
5 Some are still in progress, and some you have not even touched yet. 👆
in progress 진행 중인have not even touched 손도 대지 않았다yet 아직
💡 목적어 도치 some you have not touched는 목적어 some을 문장 앞으로 보낸 형태입니다.
6 Turning the calendar page can make you feel a little rushed. 👆

💡 동명사 주어는 단수 Blaming yourself가 주어이므로 동사는 do가 아니라 does를 씁니다. even은 '~조차도'로 부정을 강조해요.
20 It only makes starting feel heavier, so you keep putting it off.

It is September already.

I wonder how the plans you made at the start of the year are going.

Eight months of this year have already gone by.

Some of them have surely worked out just as you planned.

Some are still in progress, and some you have not even touched yet.

Turning the calendar page can make you feel a little rushed.

You start to wonder what you have actually been doing all this time.

But before you blame yourself, think about one thing.

January first is really just one of the many days in our lives.

The plans you make on that day are not the only plans that matter.

In truth, no rule says you have to finish anything by a certain day.

That idea comes from the calendar, not from your own life.

All through our lives, we make plans, try them, and fix them again.

Some things begin in March, and other things begin in September.

And along the way, there is always some trial and error.

Trial and error is not proof that you failed, but proof that you tried.

A goal you have not reached yet has not disappeared.

If something you never started is still on your mind, you probably still want it.

Blaming yourself does not move that goal forward even one step.

It only makes starting feel heavier, so you keep putting it off.

So look at where you are, but do not judge yourself for it.

In the end, when you start and when you finish are both up to you.

And a new day comes around every single morning.

Doing nothing yesterday is no reason to do nothing today.

So get back up instead of staying where you are.

You do not have to make a whole new plan.

Just pick one thing that keeps coming back to you.

Then start with the smallest step you can take right now.

The day you begin is always today.
